The High-Energy Trapstep DJ Mix by H-Wave

Updated: May 5, 2024 12:30 AM EST

An H-Wave 'Late Rave' is a musically explosive 1-hour Trapstep DJ mix by H-Wave and produced under Zerothwave Productions. Each HWLR volume explores the wacky, mechanistic, and passably harsh cacophony that have been known to come from Dubstep. These sounds are then mixed together with a deep forte resonating from the colossal lower bass frequencies which stem from Trap and Hip-Hop.

The so-called 'H-Wave Late Rave' 1-hour mix was created because of the difficulty we often face in having to change to a different music track every five minutes each time a song is finished. When listening to music for a long period of time, having to constantly do this is likely a major hassle for most. The solution is to use pre-made playlists that can be compiled together and mixed into a custom presentation and released in a stylized series. This insures that good music is played continuously for at least a full hour at a time. Similar music tracks streaming one after another had not been a common system when the HWLR series was first created and was otherwise not yet popular.

The 1-hour design of the HWLR DJ mix was envisioned in the hopes of taking care of this track switching issue. H-Wave proceeds with the listener in mind while producing this DJ mix series. Each volume is presented as though it is a live set played in a lineup at a club or festival. If the music stream on Zerothwave.com is set on autoplay, one can potentially listen to many, many hours of each HWLR volume in a row. This effectively takes streaming media to the next level with many combinations possible for your personal audio preferences. There are enough HWLR mixes to stream a steady radio station.

These DJ mixes tend to focus on the top-level genres of Electronic Dance Music such as Dubstep and Trap music. Since the beginning of these genres, H-Wave has helped morph and evolve Electronic music far into the future. Each HWLR mix is 60 minutes long and all generally have about a dozen to a dozen and a half music tracks that are mixed, edited, and mastered together into a single 1-hour Trapstep DJ mix.

The general flow of energy behind each 1-hour audio volume steadily follows a rising action curve as though a story is being told. Dubbed 'Rage Intensity', this progressive curve has several parts. The intro, rising-action, climax, falling-action, and resolution describe each HWLR volume. The Rage Intensity for these HWLR DJ mixes are designed and elegantly modeled with an intensive, clashing, Electronic musical background.

The HWLR DJ mix series is available online at Zerothwave.com as a high-quality, commercial-free, featured streaming option. Listen to each volume as they are released one after another or by picking and choosing the order.
